QPR link to every team at the World Cup 14:27 - Dec 6 with 5348 viewsAntti_Heinola

Saw a Sunderland fan had done this, thought I'd have a go. It can't be controversial can it?
Can you add to it? Either extras or (creatively) filling in the blanks? Can't use someone more than once is my rule, which blocks Seny from being Switzerland and Senegal...

Qatar - Aziz Ben Askar currently manages Umm-Salal in the Qatari league. Beat that!
Ecuador - ?
Senegal - Armand Traore
Netherlands- Sieb Dykstra, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Tjaronn Chery
England - Gerry Francis (happy birthday Gerry!), Paul Parker, Les Ferdinand, Stan Bowles...
Iran - ?
USA - Frankie Simek (proud of that one)
Wales - Tyler Roberts, Tony Roberts
Argentina - Gino Padula
Saudi Arabia - ?
Mexico - Ale Faurlin played for Cruz Azul in Mexico City
Poland - Pavel Wszolek, Adam Czerkas. The other one.
France - Loic Remy, Doudou,
Denmark - Marc Nygaard
Tunisia - ?
Australia - versatile as an egg, Ned Zelic, Nick Ward, Mass Luongo
Spain - the pirate, Esteban Granero
Germany - Seb Polter
Japan - ?
Costa Rica - Paulo Wanchope (cry emoji)
Belgium - Ilias Chair was born there
Canada - Marc Bircham
Morocco - Adel Taarabt
Croatia - ?
Brazil - Julio Cesar
Serbia - ?
Switzerland - Seny Dieng born there
Cameroon - Stephane Mbia
Portugal - Jose Mourinho - played in goal at Loft end
Ghana - ?
Uruguay - ?
Korea - Park ji Sung, Yun Suk Young

Bare bones.

Serge Branco made one international appearance for Cameroon (woo-hoo )

Ecuador, hmm, that is a tough nut to crack. I did come up with a tenuous Tunisian link earlier.

In November, Alex Aoraha of our B Team played for Iraq in a friendly against....Ecuador:

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Remember from back in my youth being really impressed by a Tunisian midfielder (number10) in the 1978 World Cup who played in a very similar style to our Stanley, who was still at QPR at the time.

His name was Tarak Dhiab and there's some footage of him on You Tube

Actually won African footballer of the year in 1977 so arguably Tunisia's greatest ever footballer.

Plays like Stanley looks like Penrice.

That’s connection enough surely.

When Don Shanks retired from football he joined up with guitarist John Armitage to form the electro-pop duo Armitage Shanks, who went on to support Japan on their Art of Parties UK tour in 1981.

The most prolific football agent to ever wheel and deal with the club is Iranian: Kia Joorabchian. Where would we be without him?

Also, midfielder Angel Mena plays for Leon, who came to us as a free agent in the summer. There is also Jackson Porozo - Troyes - which is more then Tyler Roberts does.
