Eze to start for Palace at the Den on 11:48 - Jan 11 by Shadow
You're right, there is no reason for anyone to click on a thread that they don't want to read and I find it odd that people do.
However, please don't have the audacity to come here and say that there isn't a clique and an accepted mantra.....
You, for one, had a ridiculous meltdown when I once suggested that Shaun Derry was exposed for the journeyman footballer he was when he put his hands on Ashley Young and many others accused me of not being a QPR fan for daring to hold such an opinion...

Let's prove that there isn't a clique with accepted mantras by down voting a post making a point we don't agree with but are not wiling to argue against....

I'm not part of any clique as far as I'm aware but do find some comments on this type of thread as completely absurd. Whereas I choose to avoid threads that I suspect will irritate me completely.
ranging from SuperStan's unnecessary involvement, rather than merely ignoring the post and reading something else; through to your suggestion that there are little gangs running around down voting in a coordinated fashion and digging out Clive over an ancient post involving Ashley Young; one of the biggest cheats and whining bitches in the history of the game.
As for Eze, he is the arguably the poster boy for this club post premiership. Along with playing with honour, putting up with some harsh and unfair criticism early on, acting impeccably when leaving the club.
for anyone of a certain age he is as near as legendary as they can have and should be applauded for giving the youngsters someone to follow. He might not be a Stan, but then for anyone under 50 they didn't see him play anyway.
there is my argument to support my down vote (if I down voted your post, which I suspect I did)
Hope that helps

So I’m not allowed an opinion because it doesn’t agree with a thread?

You're as allowed to have an opinion as we are to tell you when its - how shall I phrase this diplomatically - not necessarily particularly well thought through [

By all means have an opinion, just dont get upset if people disagree with you. They have equally (and in this case dare I say it, more) valid opinions to your own.
Not knowingly in a clique by the way.
Never knowingly understood

Nor me but I'd like to start one with you, Dane, of people who don't react in an over-sensitive manner when other people tell them that our opinions can be challenged, so long as it is done in a polite, respectful way, and we don't get accused of being in a clique

I haven’t got upset at all, I believe others have though and peoples opinions vary, whom can say one is more valid than the others, that is the point of forum’s.

Doesn't it?
If you're suggesting that anyone in this thread currently has 2 active accounts that they are using to amplify their arguments on this thread please provide proof.
On the other hand, it could be that people who don't go to every QPR game and have lives and wives away from Loftus Road might just not see things the same way as those who don't...

Doesn't that last sentence prove that you ARE arguing with yourself?!

Erm, no...
To avoid confusion I'm saying that those with more emotional attachment to QPR than others may form different opinions ...
For example, a single man who has nothing else in his life apart from QPR may form opinions that are different to someone with a greater amount of interests...

I do not think that we should be labelling Eze as a legend.....left us as a 'well decent proper' player (not quite as good as that great man playing CF for us, though!!!) and improved enough to make himself a Premiership class player. Hopefully he will improve even more with the right coaching. The best we have produced over the past decade or more and I am very interested in how his career develops so any updates on here will get my eye.
Contrary to what has been stated, I did not see a lot of abuse negative stuff about Eze, more the opposite. There was some posts suggesting (me) that he needs to work harder and defend better which I feel in his last season he did much better and hence the move he wanted - fair play to him. Some proper silly stuff on this thread but, hey, most threads have that stuff imo.
As for cliques on this MB, of course there is.....regards
The most hated poster (because he has different opinions than most on this MB).

Shadow, calm.
You remind me of my young self on this board. It's pointless getting wound up, you're not going to make your point or change opinions. You're best off treating it like you're talking to yourself.
I get immense pleasure posting my inner football monologue on here, spouting opinions that are generally just ignored. I take pride in the fact I've been on here over 15 years and am still nowhere near being accepted into any kind of clique. But overall it's a great board full of intelligent, reasonable and funny people.
Sometimes I just stand behind Clive at the C&S and revel in the fact he has no idea I'm looking at him. Creepy sh*t. You should try it.
