I'm fast coming to the same opinion. As I stated elsewhere it looks like he has painted us so tightly in a corner with his activities over the last couple of months that we might have to accept peanuts for players that are hard to replace. | | | |

I would say that they tried before now, always been talk that he wanted to get promoted with us but would see from there if it didn't happen.
If we got promoted, possibly would have signed a new contract and we would be in a place to offer wages that say Burnley could pay now.

I would definitely give him until Christmas to see some proper improvements.
Even then, I wouldn't sack him for league position. Its all about progression in my eyes.
Shouldn't be difficult for him to improve on what we saw in the last game, so as long as it's moving slowly forward, I'm behind him fully.
Even if we are still in the relegation zone at Christmas.
I understand fully why people are upset at the last performance, but we need to give the guy time. Plenty of it.
