Thanks Dicko. One of my favourite bands. Saw them at the Birmingham Humminbird in 1989 on their Doolittle tour and they were excellent. Never seen a mosh-pit so committed. Band members signing stuff afterwards, including the lovely Kim Deal.

They did a signing in Spillers before the gig this year too. I prefer Sonic Youth though.

If you like this sort of thing go and see my pals Penelope Isles who play Cinema and Co in Swansea on the 23rd. They just got back from the states and have had an eventful year with constant touring and supporting the likes of The Flaming Lips.

I saw them at clwb earlier this year and they were absolutely fantastic. Ex Cocteau Twin Simon Raymonde manages them and has signed them to his Bella Union label. They've played all over Europe and the states this year, they must have clocked at least 60-70 gig salready this year and the tour doesn't finish until the end of Jan.
This is worth a watch though as you get to see a lot more of their dynamics live. If you want to see them there are still some tickets left or rock up on the night on the 23rd at Cinema and Co. £7 bargain!
