Eurovision is a really big deal here in the Netherlands. Last year it had the highest viewing figures on Dutch tv for the whole year. I guess that maybe too many people visit coffee shops..........
Full disclosure - I am currently in Lisbon. I seem to be surrounded by well-groomed young gentlemen who are clearly still are waiting for the right girl. My wife is currently keeping them at bay.
This is what happens when you have too many beers and say 'Yeah, that sounds like a laugh. Book the tickets'. Two other mates flying in later (with wives).
Don't judge me - I was once like you...
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Trust me dude, if the Dutch representative Waylon doesn't make the top 10 there will be a national enquiry as to what went wrong. The Dutch people on the whole are cool as, but they do have some strange habits.......... And in case you are wondering, the song is truly horrendous, it's the sort of thing you'd put on at home if you wanted to get rid of people!!!!

Im not convinced we have a sufficient explanation for your being at the eurovison and for where you're importing all the wives from?

Having only just switched over and realised Eurovision was on, all I can say is Good Lord, Cyprus! What a "personality". What a gorgeous, stunning, toned personality.
What happened with the British entry?
Also, was I the only person thinking the Irish chap was singing out of key?
Anyway, Cyprus.

I put a bet on Lordi in 2006 at 9-1 after working on the warm up show for the British entry and the (usual suspect) audience went urghhhh. I knew they would win.

Fck me.
Who called it? Nice one.

Can't disagree. Just shows you that the early part of the voting, the "so-called" official judges part is useless. Still, that's Eurovision for you. Mind you, some of their votes were out of the trees as well. Aussie was treated poorly to only get nine votes by the public - what!?
Surprised you haven't commented on the Hungarian entry Metallica
