Watching Corbyn on the Andrew Marr Show pouring out the verbal emollient of the preciousness of democracy, how politicians must be afforded adequate protection as they carry out this higher calling, how an attack on such venerable light-bearers is a crime like no other; all the while his pupils dilating and contracting slightly, the thought struck me that for Marr the overall effect must have been not unlike that of a patient receiving a prescriptive diagnosis from Dr Crippen.
Violent attacks for political ends upon politicians is an entirely new development he would have had the viewers believe. The result of UKIP's Brexit poster campaign is the line he appeared to be propagating. It's that ghastly far-right 'wot dun it.
Well allow me to refresh your memory, which Corbyn has such blatant contempt for, of what he had to say previously about the murder of elected British politicians: Those of us of an age will recall the Republican Movement's attempt to murder the Government en masse at Brighton in October, 1984. How many of the Labour supporters on here will recall his editorial in the Labour Briefing two months later where he opined "“It certainly appears to be the case that they only sit up and take notice when they are bombed into it”
To be a good liar is to have a good memory, so its said; but to be a successful liar you have to hope that others have a bad memory and don't have a mass of documentation filed for future reference.

True.
I'd see Skip more in the anguished genius mould of Colin Wilson/Bill Hopkins/John Osbourne, the literary "Angry Young Men" of the '50s. His column in the Post inspiring, confusing and unsettling every Wednesday. I can just imagine it now...
Editor: I'm not sure we can run with this, Skip.
Skippy: Publish you C**T!
Editor: (sigh) We had none of this from that nice Mr Amis.

through all his rants comes undoubted knowledge and valid points.

If corbyn was genuine, and he might well be, surely he would have some fire in his belly as regards his "support" for remain.
It could simply be of course he hasn't changed his stance at all and is only concerned to see Cameron fall .
Cameron, to be fair, trying to show what might happen if we leave, whereas Corby simply seems quite diffident and detached.
Things could be very very uncertain if we vote to leave ,almost as much as the day corbyn were to take over this country s leadership.
Doesn't bear thinking about
Corbyn has nothing to contribute, that's why this campaign has seen him completely side-lined. He and his cronies are probably off manning a barricade in Cable Street wondering where everybody has gone.

Yes but why is the media and his planet swans acolytes not asking questions of him.
Cameron is taking massive abuse about remain but not corbyn. They are on the same side in this matter
Labour's press department are no doubt keeping Corbyn's exposure to interviews to an absolute minimum, any journalist who has taken the time to do a modicum of research could rip him to shreds over Europe.

Of course but surely he can go on This Morning and Loose Women.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
