The club needs to make some sort of statement to the fans as to what is happening on this subject! Stop leaving us in the dark and tell the truth! I wanna knowing I'll still have a club to follow in the future!! Sort it out tf!

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

And remember where Faurlingate ended up? We will likely have a similar legal team and the league will not want an open fight over this issue. Significant, but not massive fine and reprimand.

All bets are off though if Mr Dupont wins his case against FIFA in Brussels. Result wont be known til end of the year, but that will potentially mean all bets are off with FFP

Never knowingly understood

Interesting I bow to your inside knowledge. What did the club do to delay the FA's investigation

i just dont want this to spin out of control like faurlingate did!

all down to how far the football league want to take this, the point of the rules is supposed to be clubs not building large debt so the owners writing debt off is exactly what they want to happen. To fine us big money would be a bit perverse imo

I find it interesting that FFP has gone very quiet. I would not expect the FL to make anything public before talking to the clubs but if that has happened why have the media not reported on it I am sure they have their sources.

Are you confusing the reason the FA were investigating with the inordinate time they took to reach a decision

Someone on here said we couldn't be hit with a transfer embargo until the January transfer window under the FL's FFP rules. I can't find evidence for that, anyone shed any light?

Surely asking that question on a fan forum won't get you anywhere. Why don't you write to the clubs board of directors stating your case forcefully that you won't stand being mucked about over your club.

The grass is always greener.

If you get promoted whilst breaking the rules it's only a fine no transfer embargo which is what we'll be looking at.

If you fail them and stay down it's a transfer embargo usually in January as the results don't normally come out in time for the summer window

I don't think this is as easy as a simple update from the club because this is VERY muddy waters IMO, BUT I also don't think the club should have released their "We've written of £60m, so we're good people" statement (Excuse the pun). The accounts were shockingly bad and have blatantly been doctored to avoid the fine.

The reason it looks like VERY muddy waters IMO is I'd say the football league can only issue the huge fine IF they have enough "Balls" and a clear indication they will win a legal battle. I cannot see QPR swallowing a huge fine without fighting it legally.

The Football League will have to make a VERY important decision. The position QPR have put them in is very difficult.

IF they Fine QPR, QPR make it a legal battle & QPR win, what will this do to FFP?? (What will the teams who have been relegated and not been able to invest due to FFP fine do?) Also this could take years for a verdict.

IF they fine QPR the amount people are taking about £50m, how can the club survive? Surely this would put the club is an even worse financial state, show how could this be "Financial fair play"?

BUT IF they don't fine QPR what will this do to FFP? How can they in force it going forward??

Boy oh boy its fun being a QPR fan…I reckon they will both agree a fine (Hopefully not a transfer embargo if we go down!)

Either way IF we stay up (Not looking likely I know), we can shelve this debate for another day… I think!
