It was a big deal, top flight team and he did very well against some very strong sides like Napoli, Juventus and even Athletico in the Champions League. Was equivalent of doing well at an Everton in the Premier League

He covered for Suk Young , presed the Wigan defence when we cleared it out and kicked one of the line during the final few minutes .
This after being left out of the most important game of the season , left out a Wembley but celebrated as hard as anyone when we won .

I didnt say it while he was there but Serie A apart from 2 or 3 teams is barely top of championship level .

He’s wonderful on the ball, really gifted technically and with a great eye for a pass, but he doesn’t contribute much off it. I realised I had to design the team around him and get the senior players, excellent professionals like Shaun Derry and Clint Hill, to accept Adel wouldn’t do some of the things they thought a team-mate should do, like track back and so on. But as I said to them, he could do things no one else could and if they accepted that we would all play in the Premier League.

What's this obsession with Adel's defending? Why would you want your most creative, gifted player anywhere near your own goal. Play him in a 3-5-1-1 with a free roaming role in front of the midfield and give him the ball as often as possible. He's at his best running at defenders, so let him do that.
That Richard Dunne is rubbish going forward. You never see him breaking into the opposition box after beating a couple of defenders and curling it into the top corner. |  | | |

What i cant understand, is why people are focusing on Morrisons defending. Stick him up top when we are defending and let him loose on the counter attack.
The only bad thing about the playoffs was that it glossed over some very average performances leading up to it. Many of us forget how toothless we were in attack without him and that will become very apparent if he is not replaced or purchased. We have very little creative spark and relying on Granero (although a decent player) is not going to keep us up.
As i have said before, i think he has the potential to be better than Barkley. He just needs to get his head sorted, and Arry is the man to do it. In two years time, he will be worth 20 million plus, and we will be kicking ourselves because we missed him.

I think as well as voting Spam need to "get rid" we should also shout from the rafters he's a diver, a wrong un or anything to put other clubs off him.
I'd carry him across London on my broken back and listen to heavy metal all the way if it meant us signing him. The kid is immense and with the correct tutilidge will be world class and have a full England cap within 18 months.

That's not evidence, its just Neil Warnocks opinion. Also man Utd finished 7th last season, similar season to Milan, still a big deal to play for them though [Post edited 25 Jul 2014 7:23]
