Brought up as C of E ,refused to go to Sunday school. Am a firm believer that all religions are created by the wealthy to scare the poor into obedience.

I refused to go a skiing holiday to Italy, all paid for in 1989 as we had Sheffield Wednesday away in the league the day of departure.
My caveat is that myself and my mate pledged to go to every game that season, which we achieved. |

The last game was a banker up in Scotland if I remember correctly, think it ended up four or five nil.
Young lad decided 22k at his age was a game changer and he didn’t have the edge to hold on ( don’t think I would have either) |

Should have won £666 aces years back, 8 games both teams to score, had 15/16 and cashed out for £166, the final team scored almost immediately.
In 2015 a young lad I worked with in Staines did. £1 22 game acca, pay out would have been £42000, he cashed out on £22000 with one game left which also came in, he was 18 and it was a fortune to him. |
