Another assist and also created chance of the match
I think he’s doing great and please to have this future qpr legend in our team. Yep 250 odd appearances for us and I think he’s approaching legendary status for us
Guys.. come on… we do this every few months with him
He’s a hard working decent player but he has too many limitations and until last 3-4 games his return on goals and assists was awful. Infact probably even bad return on his chances created
Last few games this has improved and this is a confidence thing and hopefully some coaching but let’s take it one at a time as I still don’t see him getting more Than 5 goals a season or bucket loads of assists
Having said all above - he is top lad and plays his heart out for qpr so I would have him in
I would say he will go down as a great - unsure about top 6 personally - I would probably even have Taarabt above him - biased I know - but Taarabt can do things that no one else can and a lot of pros say that
Which QPR player had the most dramatic fall from grace in your experience. What I mean by that who started absolutely great and ended up as one of the worst and how can we explain it all? Seems to happen to quite a few QPR players
Samba diakete was absolutely set to become a qpr favourite. He was absolutely mental - his Fulham display saw him chop down their opponents and get two yellow cards quickly and we all thought we had a head case. Then he really kicked on and his displays the rest of the season were immense. Loved him. He worked well with Taarabt, cisse etc
Then we signed him permanently I think and he just lost it. Does anyone know what happened and why? Was this mark hughes influence?
Hold on here guys ! Smyth cops a lot of abuse normally and now suddenly he’s a hero…
Can we all be a bit more realistic and admit that he’s a passionate footballer with limited ability. He will never stop running and he tries his hardest and can get an opposition defence panicked as he runs at them
But he hasn’t suddenly transformed into one of our great players because of one great well taken goal and a good cross the game before. His end product is poor and isn’t of championship standard and one of the reasons we have struggled
I like him and he would always be on bench for me with 10 mins to run at players at the end but let’s not pretend he’s anymore than that
