Thread | The CBS (ex-Ricoh) Arena, getting to and from

Another new stadium for me on this season’s odyssey. I can see why I have avoided this one before because it looks an absolute ball-ache.
Is it (still?) true that the Coventry Arena station is shut immediately before and after games? If not, given there is only an hourly service, what chance is there of actually getting on one of these trains?
I am more than happy to use buses (pleb that I am) but even this looks tricky.
The CCFC website (un)helpfully states ‘Please note that after the game, crowd control measures will be in place to segregate home and away supporters. This means that away fans will be unable to turn left outside of the stadium towards the Arena Shopping Park.’ Whatever that means?!
Any advice / pointers received with much thanks. I am in no particular hurry because I am staying in the city centre (i.e. not traveling back to London that night.)

Thread | Getting to Elland Road from Leeds Station

And back again afterwards!
Looking for some advice here. In my almost 40 years of going to away games, I have somehow managed to resist the charms of Elland Road - until now.
I was going to walk it, seems about 2 miles which is fine for me, but looking at the potential routes none seem that great.
There seems to be some mention of a Shuttle Bus, anyone ever used it?
Presumably it will full of insufferable Leeds fans, especially on the way back.
(Seeing how rubbish the trains are / have been, I have given myself ample leeway i.e. time should not be an issue.)
Any other suggestions gratefully received.

I cannot remember which thread this was previously discussed on but will be of interest to most public transport users in London but particularly my fellow East London, Essex and East Anglian QPR brethren.
It took an FOI request, from which I received a token response and a follow-up expressing my dissatisfaction in the lack of detail provided, which today solicited a further email from the 'Principal Information Access Adviser, FOI Case Management Team - Transport for London' (no less) which had a link to this Press Release dated today.

A coincidence no doubt, rather than because of my badgering, but useful info all the same but the link eastbound from Paddington (without needing to change at Liverpool Street) will begin on the 6 November 2022 (apparently.)

For personal reasons I cannot now make the game.
For logistical reasons would more suit a fellow East London R. I’m in sunny South Woodford so any reasonable public transport liaison point considered. Would be willing to go as far into town as Stratford as obviously that’s an easy trip from there.
Could do a meet late afternoon which would suit but as it’s free, I would expect some flexibility on your part.
PM me if interested. Can discuss further then but need some sleep now as been up most of the night.

Worth it.
I already subscribe to Norton standard av whatever they are now calling it. I am aware that having it itself slows down performance.
PC performance is shockingly slow and Norton are offering this as the solution (will apparently make my PC good as new.)
Computer is an all-in-one, about 6 years old. Is NUU worth it - will £30 pa to current yearly subscription.
I know there are serious IT bods on here.

Following on from the ‘repeats’ match report, it got me wondering if and when this has happened before. Given our record in the cups, I am sure it must have done. This was the first time I can remember visiting an away ground in the same season twice and seeing us lose both times?
Possibly Blackburn 2011/12?
Anyone?
