It's interesting to read your take on Eze, francisbowles. I've noticed he's not the best at the defensive side of the game but still feel he's not quite as bad as you say.
I do see him as a player who plays his part in the team as well as doing what he does best. That said, I read that Steve Parish was shocked at the lack of interest in Eze this summer so perhaps your perspective on him is right. |

Watching the Ireland v England game I find myself again amazed that Grealish can be considered ahead of Eze. Is it because I am biased toward Eze? I know I am. Or is it that Grealish really is overrated? |

I share your concerns about Saito and Dembele. The offy's comments on their deals were not definite. And, with Nourry keeping schtum about such matters, we're unlikely to be told precisely what the deals are with these two. |

Same for me. Used to go to Saturday morning pictures there stopping at a sweet shop not far from the cinema on the same side to stock up on flying saucers and gob stoppers to chomp during the film. |

You may be right and Marti may stay with us for a good few seasons. However, he seems to be an ambitious man who likes to move up the ladder when the opportunity presents itself. Over 10 years as a manager he's been at 7 clubs, including us, in 5 different countries. We won't be his final destination that's for sure. Let's enjoy him while he's here. |

A bit controversial on Bowie there, TW. Ronson was certainly a big plus point in Bowie's rise to fame and he was brilliant on my two favourite Bowie albums, Hunky Dory and Spiders. But I firmly believe Bowie would have become the superstar he was without him. After all, Ronson left Bowie in 1973 and Bowie's fame just continued to rise and rise. |

I'm one who thinks Dembele looks better in the 10 role rather than out wide.
It's going to be interesting to see who plays where when Chair returns with him, Dembele, Andersen, Saito and Smyth all vying to start, plus Santos, Kolli and Lloyd in reserve. I'd love to see the 3 interchanging positions when attacking. |

Agreed bosh but that's when Smyth is at his best; coming on for the final 30 minutes of a game. For me that should be his role now we have excellent options out wide. |
