I don't really eat much fried food anymore but when I did my local kebab shop strangely did the best fish and chips in the area. Better than the other local chippies, who are all good but the quality of the fish and chips at my local kebab shop in Luton is better than all of them. Sadly, due to not wanting to die like some others on this thread, I decided to swap out fried food for much healthier food and on some days, hardly any food at all.
Nice to see him recognised in his lifetime. He was apparently an electric winger for us in the 50s. I'm not sure he could do a job for us now at 91 though... However, if he was a right back...
As far as I know Hayden is not in the Newcastle squad and is working on a mutual termination of his contract to make him a free agent. If, as and when that happens then it will be interesting to see if we can afford him. I know we now have adequate cover but I actually think Hayden, who is still only 29, is a cut above anything we have. He is just that good. Not sure we can now afford him through.
It was at The Edgware Odeon. The Towering Inferno. I remember the guy coming out the lift on fire and I totally freaked out. My mum had to take me out the cinema and home because I was so traumatised by that... Quite embarrassing really as I was 27 at the time.
I'm just hoping that Frey has really landed now here. He seems to really enjoy being here and the fans are getting behind him. With a lot of fan love I think he can score 15+ goals this season.
Very impressive. Also able to speak for 15 minutes without moving his lips at all. He really is Captain Stats. I'd love to see the graphs and pie charts he must have put together to find a partner.
Overall he is very impressive. An old head on young shoulders. I love that he thinks we're unique and that is obviously part of the attraction for him. I also like his caution that it is going to take time. I totally agree with that. Obviously if we haven't won the Champions League by the end of this International break everyone should be fired. He's realistic but massively analytic. I feel like we are in truly good hand now.
I also feel that he has more IQ in his big toe than I am ever likely to have in my whole body.
Really great stuff. A few people have commented that Tyler isn't even an Rs fan. Watch this and you'll see that even if he wasn't he is fast falling in love with all things Rangers. Kicks every ball, silently sings all the songs. Great relationship with Andy. Not an easy job to commentate but great work from both of them.
If one side spends 75% of the game with less than 5 touches in the opposing area that real estate can be used by the other team for other commercial ventures, such as wedding and receptions for the remaining 25% of the game.
I went with the Frey goal in the Cambridge game because it is a great team goal. I also went for Frey as player of the month but Dembele is very much up there.
Looks like Newcastle may make Hayden a free agent over the next week and a half. A few teams including us are tracking what happens. I wonder given that we have Varane if we would still consider bringing him back? And if as reported that Dunne may also convert to holding midfield when needed. Hayden was superb last season. He's 29 so a good few years in him yet. Not sure our budget could now stretch to him but he would again add so much to midfield.
I can identify with this. I sometimes have a mad purge of paperwork on my desk because it's just been sitting there for months and within a few days someone will ask if I still have X.
