Whether you think it or not the state pension is a benifit, don't you like the thought that you may be receiving a benifit when pensionable age. Personally I don't believe that state pensions will be the same in 20-30 years anyway. With the current growth in the UK population it will be impossible to service.

Seems like people are happy to increase taxes and reduce benefits as long as it doesn't affect them. Life is not like that and the state pension will change dramatically whenever a government chooses, ask the WASPI women.

By the same token I believe that not everyone should receive the benifit called the state pension. Why should any individual with an income of above say £100K a year in retirement receive any benefits. It's not the removal of the winter fuel allowance that's the issue for me, it's the level at which it's applied. Then there is the £10 Christmas bonus, just what is that all about in this day and age.

Thomas going on loan was a massive mistake. Loan him out in January if he wasn't getting game time, but I'm sure he would have against WBA and again against Norwich. You can call it hindsight, but you don't release until you recruit three forwards out on loan is just silly. Unless we are converting a wide player to a forward.

Wouldn't implementing this tax save the winter fuel allowance.

Lucky or well earned result, a bit of both for me and the jury is still out on Bellamy.

I'm just glad he's come off uninjured, he may be playing up front on Saturday.

Apparently not, this could easily be 5-4 to either team, terrible conditions, but we are not playing to them.

Just seeing the game for what it is without the rose tinted glasses. We should just be thankful for the first 5 minutes.

If they did would it be a record time for a revolt and would it be the tories fault.

Been watching the tennis.

I watched quite a bit. Draper played really well to get the semi where it all went wrong unfortunately. Swansea youngster Xu also had a good run until also going out in the Junior Women's Singles semi final. Draper should be in the World top 20 when the next list comes out.

True. But the state pension is a benifit. Any increase is not a pay rise but a benifit increase. All benifit payments should be paid in full or not paid at all. To say there is a £400 increase is just not true in most cases.
