Fairly immobile when he was with us and his fitness was questionable, has done little since and makes you wonder how sharp he will be at 33 having been playing in the Saudi league, not for me. Although we do need someone ridiculous we have Frey and Celar as only Strikers.
Surely a message board is to express and debate options with other fans, no matter what the personal view is? Personally I expected a slow start but am a little concerned.
I’d agree and we have a huge amount of talent in midfield, may struggle to get back in, maybe will push him to move to a bigger side to help get him back in!!

I’ve no issue the contract lengths not being disclosed, if they are then it naturally creates a lot more social media chat particularly as they come to an end. This in turn can be picked up by other clubs which can unsettle or make our negotiations more difficult as other teams declare an interest. I don’t see this decision as a Game Changer (although interesting others have adopted) but by avoiding disclosing details a small incremental gain.
I am very much playing devil’s advocate here as Dembele stats are very good, I do wonder how good this news is though, Dembele has been poor in the last few matches and wonder if a loan with an option to buy may have kept the player more motivated to prove himself he has a deal in place now no matter how he performs.
Ridiculous that people were ‘judging the window’ I even saw some marks out of 10, surely this is impossible until at least 12-15 matches and really the end the season when you reflect back.
Bannon’s last min shot was direct from the kick-off, fairly good effort, just over the bar but Nardi scrambled back and had it covered. I’m not sure I’d have ever recovered if that had gone in!
Long day but ultimately a great one that felt like a win. The dramatic late goal shouldn’t mask a a surprisingly poor performance, very lucky to be level at HT and would have had no reason to complain if we had lost. Seem to be a lack of movement, ideas and an inability to do the basic’s right, created very little although the stats look reasonable I suspect this was really only because of the mad scramble significantly added to our shots on target!
£38 is too much, particularly given the view and concourse facilities we can offer. Shame more teams can’t work together and agree a limit, £25 seems about right these days.
Quite liked it last season when time wasted was actually added on, 4mins was an absolute joke I genuinely thought minimum 7 although doubt it would have made a difference.
Not sure we can aim any criticism at Marti for a second half during which we completely dominated and created numerous chances, only thing we couldn’t do is put the ball in the net.
