I suggested Saturday that the team weren’t prepared or ready and got told by our resident know-it-all that was”reactionary nonsense”
It was pretty obvious in the Brighton friendly. We’re miles off it.

Inevitable, only surprise was that it took so long, fcking around with it in your own penalty area is only going to end one way.

That was boring awful drek, missed the first ten minutes, but not a single shot at goal and what are we trying to achieve playing endless one-twos in our own penalty area?
Brighton are obviously better than us, but we are so far off it in terms of even retaining the ball never mind creating chances. [Post edited 3 Aug 15:51]

Can’t complain, Spain deserved it.
Infuriating though that we only ever start attacking when we’re a goal down.
Had the momentum after the equalizer and then just sat back on the edge of our area again. |
