1230 UK time kickoffs mean rolling out of bed at 625am in Chicago and making a quick cuppa before kickoff these days.
Used to mean getting up at 5 and getting the train downtown to bang on the door of the bar to get them to open up before the game kicked off but too old and lazy for that more than once a year now. |

The challenge where he climbed over the defenders and won the header? Borderline but not really a problem and you'll rarely get that call. But before running in to win that header he shoves cook to the ground (pushes him in the back) so he gets a free run.
Maybe we are talking about the same thing though and it just didn't look at excessive from another angle - can't get sky highlights to play overseas so not sure what they showed |

Agree in general it evens out, frustrating tonight because I thought that was a particularly bad call - can't stand VAR but that's ruled out for sure if it was implemented.
Still, I'd take all the bad decisions this year where we appear to be comfortable in mid table (who'd have thought!) if we are going to get them going in our favor next year! |

I just don't understand how in 2025 why anyone that is remotely famous and it wise reputation is important to them hasn't wised up to the fact that anything you post or repost online isn't going to get thrown back at you at some point |

Yeah, Cook is a tough one, especially if that contract is high. Theoretically he's blocking Morrison, but that's only really true if you believe JCS is going to be fit to play a majority of the games... |

Interesting how we all see it differently, my perception is that the level of "home cooking", while still there for all the reasons you explain, is way less of a bias than it was in say the 90s, where the visibility was less than it is now, and the likes of Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford were just allowed to referee the game themselves |
