Not a great result, going 3-1 up and only drawing against 10 men - we need to be more ruthless though we are finding the net now. But we are on 6 points and a number of teams look in far worse shape than us atm. I am thinking half full rather than half empty at the moment but I wouldn't write our season off after 6 games just yet. Hopefully LT and ST will become regular goal scorers for us - we need them to as the defence still seems to be gelling and DC needs to keep the players likely to win us matches on the pitch. |

If we're playing badly and getting a draw that is kind of progress - clouds & silver linings and all that. It would be much better if we were playing badly and winning though. As far as the racist language goes, that will be recorded on the clubs cctv (if indeed they have any) and hopefully the perps will be looking at a conviction and a long ban from grounds. |

It is a shame but he never really showed enough form to be a regular forst team player. Perhaps the Cowleys are planning to bring in another new striker to partner Lyle Taylor up front? As for jay he really does need to rediscover his old form if he is to push for a first team place, if not then we'll likely be aiming to replace him as well though I feel he needs a proper crack at it. |

Well David Beckham played for Preston on loan for a few matches when they were in the old third division (now League 2) so it would make sense & get him some experience if he is currently down the pecking order there. [Post edited 25 Jul 15:13]

I think DC has at the moment done whats needed to be done in terms of giving the team a decent backbone - the main thing we lacked last season which led to us finishing where we did. BG made the club into a more attacking unit but we simply lacked the quality to get it forward and lack of backbone left us open. If Joe Taylor had much better support from the other players and the club a decent backbone I think we would have been a lot higher up. ME just appeared follow orders from above and aside from promising early results never really had a proper game plan as such Also we have done our business early this time which will settle the team and not left it late like last summer which didn't help matters. Who comes in next and whether NC stays or moves on we will just have to wait & see but I think we're in a better position than last season and at the very least we appear much more organised. Also I think more quality players will arrive soon though I think DC prefers bringing in permanent signings than loanees though he will bring the latter if/when he feels that he has to. |

Though he can perform well on his day NC is a bit sporadic in terms of consistent performances. I hope they realise that if he is going. If Matt Jay also leaves (if rumours are to be believed) then thats 2 more players to replace |

Depends on who makes the best offer at the right time. I wouldn't worry too much tbh as we've brought in some decent quality by the looks of it. Hopefully the Cowley's will get the best out of them as they don't look past their best yet. Plus we will bring more players in soon. |

We just need a team who will work hard and do the job of getting us up the league - spectacular and stylish performances are afterthoughts. |

He may rediscover his goalscoring form as he has been a decent striker in the past with a decent goal haul though I would have preferred a more consistent and slightly younger goal scorer. Oscar Thorn could start breaking into the first team soon as well so it'll be interesting to see what he can do. |
