I found an EXCELLENT chippy near me last year. Only been twice because I DON'T WANT TO DIE. But yeah chippy on a Friday is hard to beat.

It's situational but if you're getting in from a flight and the fridge is almost empty but you've got enough to pull out a snack, that's better than a full on meal.
You've just done four hours flying, f**ked about in the airport, travelled home and it's like 11pm and you find some sort of f**king pan au chocolat thing kicking it at the back of the fridge? JAH WILL PROVIDE!

My worst teacher in middle school was Ms Hindle, the RE teacher. Proper c*nt.
Anyway, she did a whole hour on hell. I remember her saying that if you're basically sound but don't repent for the original sin, you burn for eternity. I literally remember "you burn but the flesh isn't consumed" and if you're basically a bad person you burn but are on a spinning wheel and are dizzy and burning eternity.

The first one I remember was Empire Strikes Back in 1981. I had seen one of the Disney films at some point around then (Snow White or some shit like that) but it must have been a showing of one of the really old ones.
Anyway, Empire. I didn't have a clue what was going on, I fell asleep and when I left I realised my Mickey Mouse watch had fallen off my wrist. F**k Star Wars. |

Been saying it a while but I'll say it again. EVERY C*NT WANTS YOUR MONEY.
If it's not ticket pricks it's supermarkets faffing you about with loyalty cards while the shit gets more expensive and the portion sizes get smaller. Or banks trying to fk you. Or the local council sending you fines for the crime of just trying to fking drive, man. You stopped for a second in a box junction because we set the lights to stay green for 1.5 seconds. Every fking thing needing an app these days.
My gym is excellent. It's super well kitted out and it's only £26 a month. Great.
Except NOT GREAT because they've introduced a new fking booking system/app bullshit thing which is
a) the faffiest fking shit I've ever seen (it's somehow got three separate fking logins for a start)
b) shit because it doesn't show TODAY'S classes - so I can't just book onto lunchtime spin and instead have to wait at the front desk LIKE A CHUMP with the families taking their kids swimming or some shit. Which will take fking AGES.
They had a nice little self check-in thing before where you had a fob that just got you in. And now it's IMPOSSIBLY COMPLEX.
And I'm smart at this shit. Like properly. I can figure out interfaces because I'm a bit of a nerd tw@t. Some poor old Doris isn't going to be able to handle any of this shit and will likely stroke out before she gets to go swimming. Christ. |

I bought a guitar in April 2023, a smart one. It's an acoustic that has a screen built in and it does all sorts of effects, pre-made loops and it has a looper built in too. I thought I'd use it tons for jazz stuff. Lay down a 2-5-1 and then solo over it sort of thing.
But in all that time I probably picked it up like 10 times. It was going to be my garden guitar but we've not had much of a summer. And while I'm still trying to figure out jazz, I'm not really playing along with things and am instead just trying to get to the root of all the theory stuff.
So I lashed it on eBay. Lucky guy got himself a fking bargain there as I took a 50% hit on it. But fk it. |
