Nice one by the club helping out Nelson.

WTF? How bizarre is that?

Why not Anton, Ryan? Come on, you owe us.

It's no wonder they are 2nd from bottom with the QPR connection they are starting to build up.

Is it wrong to presume that this means Harry doesn;t see him in next year's plans?

Probably just doing Nelsen a favour. He's barely played any football in 12 months so unlikely to need 6 weeks off on a sun lounger if Harry did want him for next season.

Eh?

Poll: So how was the season for you?

I thought he did quite well on Saturday. His positioning was good and he put in a real shift for the duration. I'd be happy if this was to get him up to full speed.

Come on, who has been telling poky pies?

"Tal Ben Haim has been one of the top defenders in the EPL for nearly a decade. He captains his national team and Ryan thinks the world of him," said Toronto FC president and general manager Kevin Payne. "He's exactly the sort of defender we need."

On loan until June 30th...can't see what's wrong with that unless I'm missing something?

The guy gets some 'soccer' practice and may get fitter in the process before returning to us for pre-season prep. We don't really need him for last two games.

One of our better players last w/e, according to stats.

I would have thought that this is good news all round........... anyone who thinks it's "dodgy" care to share their reasoning?

Is he hard enough?

Toronto FC's Ryan Nelsen puts his finger on it: “We are just too soft and we have to be hard"

Good. One of our better and more honest defenders shipped out. I guess at £2K a week he's simply not expensive or bad enough to keep.

Never knowingly right.

If Redknapp got a job at a Champions League club he'd still bring in Tal Ben Haim, claiming he was triffic to have round the training ground etc...

Looks sound business to me. He is short of match fitness so extends the season for him before a short break and then pre season with us.

Ben Haim on 19:01 - May 9 with 7321 viewsSuffolk

I don't understand this one. If Ben Haim has a future at the club it would make sense to let him get a bit of match practice and forge an understanding with his team mates. We have some good individuals that need to be formed into a team. The earlier the better.
