Looked ok going forward but really need to hit the target and get a goal back with all those chances.
Defencely we look shakey, Green well is not playing well but could just be a confidence thing.
As long as the bar holds strong and we dont let in another one I think we can get back into the game, Hughes needs to get something changed though and we might be seing another striker on soon. |  | | |

Difference between the 2 teams that half was the goalkeepers. Green's confidence looks shot to bits. Worrying.
Scoreline not good obviously but plenty of encouraging signs. We are so much better at keeping the ball than last season - to have 56% possession against Swansea is proof of that.
Thought we dominated the first 40 minutes of that half then let them back into it - were a bit lucky at the end with them hitting the woodwork twice. Still, I'll be surprised if we finish below Swansea this season regardless of the result today. |  | | |

Its been obvious the defensive side of the squad would be the weakest, so lets hope reinforcements are on the way.

Atleast we have backup this season, I think tarbs will come off and Zamora on to partner Cisse.
Hope tarbs starts most games (unless cisse develops a great relationship with Bobby) and then we decide to keep him on wether or not he is having one of those days. Glad to have this luxury. | | | |

Hoillet looked fantastic in the first half. Needs a goal to solidify that.
Adel had a sublime half of football.
Diakite looked bright and Park had his moments.
Mackie looked great going forward -- very lively.
The decision to play Mackie on the wing and Adel as a forward has left Cisse looking exposed as Adel wanders around the pitch (as should be expected) and that leaves Cisse isolated up top. Mackie should be playing alongside Cisse and Adel out on the wing | |
