To be fair he's had a look at his options, he can go to Germany and play Champions League football, but that is going to take him away from his life and friends (don't know if he has kids) or he can stay in the UK and develop further / really make a name in the premiership. If I was him I would be thinking long and hard about what is the best way to go especially if you keep in mind that he has been at one club all his career except for a loan spell in Germany in order to validate a work visa |  | | |
