It's good they've raised young persons to 21. Youth Unemployment gave the club no option though.

Season ticket move is exactly as expected. The club depend on the old dependable.

If they did, they would accept that many females are OAP's at the age of 60. Why then charge women full price until they are 65 ? The Government make the rules on pensionable ages it, why can't Rochdale AFC abide by them. ?

Sex discrimination - or simple ageism ? Either way, it's wrong.

60 or 62 for age concessions at nearly all lg 1 grounds. After many years as season ticket holder will not be willing to pay full amount unless we stay up. Will pick games next season. Selfish I know (age 62).

I dont copy it all just travel info because it would be a pain in the bum to write up and i'd be critisized for spelling errors. The rest like ticket info and coach info is done well in advance. Like i said ages ago i have a document saved with all coach prices from this season and ticket prices. I have to email other football clubs for and i had to every more than once to Lancashire FA for this seasons Senior Cup Games 1st Round and Quarter Final detials and B**y to check on the Manchester Senior Cup games and Lancashire Senior Cup games plus you find out what the oposition club is saying about Rochdale Ect Ect Ect!!!!!

Taz it doesn't matter where you get the information from I go on Rochdaleafc.com to find out Rochdale related stuff. For me the more information regarding Rochdale AFC condensed onto one site the better. While some criticism of Tazzy is justified, having a go at him for creating one thread a week which aim is to help Dale fans is ridiculous. If you don't like the content of the thread, read the topic and simply don't click on it.

It's called a 'Country Season Ticket', is for 12 games, and I think your home address has to be a minimum 50 miles from Spotland for you to qualify as eligible for one.

My wife has had a concessionary ticket since she turned 60 because she is in receipt of her state pension - an OAP.

Last season they upped the qualifying age to 65 - meaning she had to pay the full price.

We argued that it was discriminatory towards females, but the answer was that all OAP's over 65 are entitled to a concessionary ticket, therefore it is the same for both sexes.

The club will now lose 1 season ticket holder, and the consequent revenue, because we can't afford two at those prices, especially for League Two football if that arises.

Short-sighted policy to say the least.

I agree it seems unfair, that a supporter who was entitled to a concessionary ST on the grounds of old age last year isn't this year, even though they're now older!

But recent legislation is intended to reduce unfairness (on the grounds of gender), so the club is in a difficult position

I wonder if the club would consider meeting fans halfway on this, i.e. for any females aged over 60 with an existing ST, they can purchase one for 2012/13 with half the discount, for one season only? Would that be acceptable to you and your wife? It's worth a try, and would be a good-will gesture by the club that probably would affect a very small (but important) group of fans

Really? Would have thought clubs will react accordingly with pension ages rising. Which clubs offer concessions at 60-62?

Maybe, but people in receipt of a 'state pension' regardless of age or gender, are by definition, pensioners.

Certainly, I agree that there is scope to amend the age threshold in line with legislation, but why punish those who are already over the threshold ?

A person in receipt of a state pension is a pensioner. Fact.

A few of the issues covered:

- season tickets will see no price change. Special promotion period starts invent next week when details are sent out. Young persons age group extended, now 16-21. Family matchday tickets available in the main stand as well as TDS.

- next couple of weeks will be important re training facilities. The aim is to have them in place for next season. No venue mentioned.

- Think Tank work to continue.

- someone, somewhere wanted to give Balkestein a 2 year deal.

- net profit to end of May 2011: 416k. It was a 27k loss the year before. When put together, we made around 250k from the Birmingham and FCUM games.

based on that, the funds received last Summer are not included in that profit. The funds for Wiseman, Done, and COG, and the sell ons for Alfie and Will Buckley will all come into next year's accounts.

That's right, the balance sheet should be even better now. Also pray that Wednesday go up...more money.

But we will have £400k less from the FL if we go into League 2. And expect a further drop of at least £150k in gate receipts. In short, we need to get back up to League 1 ASAP.

Oh, let me get this one in yet again...I know it's been discussed a million times, but based on the loss of monies mentioned above if we take the drop, I would NOT have sold COG because of this reason.I really believe he could have been the difference between staying up and going down. That was a big,big mistake. (I know we could get some more money out the COG situation).

...wait for an avalanche of abuse.
