He (Adam) was present, albeit online, at the last AGM and dealt with financial matters in a way that showed he was on top of the detail and, I guess, the move to Xero accounting software.

Like Mr Willoughby at the Fans Forum, impressive. New bods, who know what they are doing.

When the EGM is held re: articles of association, it'll be interesting to see how many directors said articles require for our board to be quorate. Who we need, who we don't and how the majority shareholder decides what is best.

All good points

As you say, the accounting lead (as would be expected with the Ogdens) came across well. At the same time, a former accounting lead was voted through for a further period as a director but one wonders what he's contributing these days

Perhaps he's acting as Adam Saul's underling, lining up the beans to be counted, as it were

Poll: What are you planning to do v Newport

Contributing to the Ogdens matchday wine bill probably. It's a great question though, what does he contribute and what does Gauge contribute? He doesn't contribute in regards to expertise when it comes to business acumen and has no more knowledge when it comes to football than the average man on the terrace. If you had just purchased a football club you would seek out those who know the club, the ones who have been in the Boardroom and have local contacts. The Ogdens need to engage with Chris Dunphy and spend a couple of hours in his company, the best Chairman we've ever had. Jamie Sarsfield was ostracised from the club by the current board after helping to save the club, he's another dyed in the wool, straight talking guy who is missed. Get people like those involved with the Club again and season tickets would fly off the shelf, individuals who the fans can relate too and have a beer with. It's a fan club this, no room for people on the Boardroom who think they are doing you a favour by even speaking to you. The Ogdens and Jamie Willoughby need to start listening to their customers, the fans and take notice of what they are saying. Take Chris Dunphy out for dinner, it will be the best couple of hundred quid the Ogdens could spend.

I bet a certain director didn’t put his hand in his pocket when the board had that meal at Stocco after their meeting about the pitch a few weeks back.

“He was deliberately misleading the EFL”
