Depends if calling someone white within a pejorative statement is classed as racist. Substitute it for ‘black’ and it certainly would be classed as discriminatory.

The officer should have included all the evidence in his first statement and let the CPS have all the facts so they could make an informed decision. Having to submit an extra statement as part of the Victim Right to Review process doesn’t look great to a jury. Think she may get clobbered on costs though. | | | |

Someone at the football club seems to be have told the club not to use the phrase. "Zero tolerance" as I have not seen it used for some time.
I am not a prude. I am proud of my people and football fans are not. It fits a pseudo obscene template. Laugh or cry. I do neither .. I just point out hypocrisy. | |

That;s the thing that gets me, she reckons she was scared for her life when the taxi driver got angry at her or her partner throwing up all over his taxi, I say that was just BS to try and walk away. She was drunk, she damaged his workplace and she played the victim.
The policeman who came to sort it out, she called him stupid and white. If I called someone stupid and black or any other ethnicity I doubt I'd have gotten off so lightly. The court though, it has set a precedent here surely. It should be harder to comvict someone of racism now?

Yes, the last sentence is probably right. The question of whether a reference to colour makes an insult dramatically worse is interesting. Do people remember an incident when a Chelsea fan shouted insults at Reheem Sterling when he played for Man City in 2018? The authorities got in two lip reading experts to see whether the fan had shouted "f**king Manc c**t" as he claimed, or if the word black had been used. It was judged to be a racial reference and the fan got a life time ban. [Post edited 12 Feb 16:45]
