It's poor business management when one of the key activities of the club is dependent on individuals. We should have clear processes and procedures that are codified and shared amongst a number of key employees to ensure continuity. |  |

You have to really worry about the club setup if Notts County have a far better scouting process than we do.
7 years in the Prem, 6 in the Championship and we have nothing in place. We are being bettered by a League 2 club either a glorified version of Football Manager on the PC

We don't know how much of a gift Widdell is until he has played for us.
If he isn't up to it, then he is a very expensive present. That money could have been spent on 3 or 4 decent Championship players to haul us up this season.
