good news about cook and morrison indeed but jcs can be counted out for the rest of the season i think. and i think celar will be out too for the rest of the season.
Suspect both Cook and Morrison on the bench. Why make many changes after last 2 away games? Unless Sports scientists say otherwise. I expect Frey to start and, possibly, Colback.
At least the club is trying to communicate. Not before time.

The availability of Cook and Morrison is welcome and timely. Wednesday aren't an outstanding team but they are physically imposing. I don't expect either to start, but they may be required during the course of the game.
Same will apply against Millwall, I suspect. Good news to have them back.
MC will give one of Cook/ Morrison last 10 mjns. The other next week. He has a tendency to reintroduce players carefully when not forced. Agree Colback will start whilst Kolli tends to play better when subbed on.

I’d be surprised if Colback starts but he is a great game management option towards the end.
Much better than Ashby or Madsen, Marti.
Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

10 minutes action in 2 weeks isn’t going to get either player up to speed. Would expect our captain Cook to be put straight back in the team from the start.

Re Celar, why isn't the club saying that then?
Mind you, with the optimistic timelines surrounding e.g. Colback on the last injury bulletin, we can probably add at least a few weeks to some of this info. I'll assume Dembele might be back for Easter, and Celar for the play-off final.
Good to have these updates though, and credit to Nourry for listening and changing the policy (if that's what's happened). As Clive said, more communication is a good thing.
As a final thought, I wonder if Larkeche is on Marti's radar - our one foolish loan out (with a bit of hindsight, admittedly). I like him and hope we get to see him again.

Corse only thinks Celar will be out the rest of the season.
Only one left sided CB isn't great news... Although I guess Morrison did well that side when he played earlier - let's hope Edwards is just as capable.
The JCS thing is a little odd... He hasn;t been fit enough to start more than 1 game, despite being back available for selection for weeks, and then surgery is required on an issue he picked up on Monday? What a shame that he couldn't build on last season, at the start of his contract too...
Great news about everyone else, Demebele back in the mix is also really positive, some more pace and direct running will be huge for this team, and lessen the reliance on Smyth.
Larkeche also back but seems he's not been recalled by us - thought he had - but instead only came back for treatment and now back in Scotland. Would have been decent cover for Paal but overall prefer him getting decent minutes than waiting on the bench.

My thinking would be, with Cook and Morrison now back, Fox would cover LB (although that does lose the attacking threat we have in Paal) or even Saito. In that case, more valuable to have Larkeche get as much minutes as possible so he is ready for a much bigger role in the squad next season.
I think he will go with Edwards and Fox and all being well, will change Fox after 60 or 75. I've got a slight feeling that he will bring Cook on for Fox so that he has an experienced CB alongside a 21 year old.
Hopefully this means no Ashby in the squad and coming on for the opposition for the last 15 minutes.

I am hoping Santos takes Ashbys spot on the bench. Otherwise, what was the point in signing Santos at all. And if there is no point,t we need to let him transfer out in Jan for minimal, as we got him for nothing anyway.

I take the opposite view: If Larkeche can be recalled, I don't know why he hasn't been. Fox has been very decent of late, but he's still a squad player for me. As for considering playing Saito at LB, that'd be just barmy! He's an in-behind left winger with a real goal threat.

Fair enough, but we are both thinking alternatives in case Paal is not available. He has a pretty good availibility record, so chances are Larkeche would be recalled and see minimum action.
Worst case scenario, Ashby wasn’t a train smash at left back, but that ship has now probably sailed.
Fox and Edwards tomorrow. Morrison on for the last ten minutes maybe would not be surprised if Cook not even on the bench gonna be some "names" that won't be making the squad soon because Kolli, Lloyd and Morgan have cemented those spots
