£30 isn't a bad price for a Carabao cup quarter final against Liverpool given we charged £18 for the same game in December 2015, it should be noted that under 18 prices are cheaper now then they were for that game

Fair enough, just can’t get excited about the match especially as I’ll probably be sat next to a load of southern Liverpool fans

The tickets are only being sold to those who are on the data base, so the club is doing all they can to stop that happening, if any Liverpool fans do get in it will be season ticket holders that will have bought it.

To be blunt if we can't sell this one out, we can't moan about Liverpool fans getting in.

With Saints it is always about the perception, we got 31,000 for the game in 2015 and now we will struggle to get 25,000, it's like the Chelsea semi final, the fans talked the game down and moaned about every small thing on the internet, but forgot about the thing they moan about all the time, ie the lack of a chance of success and when that came we had 10,000 empty seats which was the biggest embarrassment in my 50 years of supporting the club.

If people don't want to watch the game thats fair enough, everyone makes their own choices, but there will only be Liverpool fans in our seats because Saints fans won't have filled them.

This isnt a moan at Cocklebreath just the whole situation

Tickets will only be sold to fans with a previous purchase history, excluding games against Liverpool, so that cuts down on the possibility of any Liverpool fans buying tickets outside the away corner.

Our supporters have been remarkably loyal, in spite of poor results. As usual on football forums, there are more people moaning about people moaning than there are people moaning.

I was at the Chelsea semi final and yes that was embarrassing on and off the pitch. I travelled down from Sheffield, been to mates 40th night before.

December is an expensive month for people with children.
That is all.

Or look at it as an early Xmas present for the kids. A tenner doesn't seem too bad given what you pay for complete rubbish that won't keep their attention beyond Xmas Day!

I’m beginning to wonder if the problem is not so much one of pricing but of there being simply too much football being played ?

A little like if you miss a bus. No need to worry there’s another one along in a minute.

Miss out on the Saints- Liverpool minor cup game and save the cost towards a T V subscription where next week it’s possible to watch a Champions League game from the comfort of your home or the local pub.

Personally i think the pricing is a pisstake but then again i've said it many times before but clubs don’t give a s*it about fans, if they could put padded seats round the whole ground, charge a ton a game and pack it with tourists they would.

In fact i'm fairly sure if they didn't fear backlash they'd almost certainly sell away club shirts in the megastore to get more money.

Football is an entertainment industry for most of them running it not a community thing.

Have to agree with you around pricing and what clubs would like to do.

Fulham do just that and fill their new stand with tickets costing £100 odd per game as you say a total pisstake.

I’m not bothering with it , not so much the pricing but I don’t like watching Liverpool full stop. twice a season is more then enough .

I also cannot stand watching Liverpool. I can't stand being around plastics from Dorset. I can't stand witnessing stewards do nothing as plastics walk in with Liverpool shirts on. I can't stand then being beaten by them, which is the likely outcome. It's just before Christmas. I don't actually think £30 is too bad for a quarter final. But I hate watching Liverpool. Hate seeing them celebrate they are so arrogant and in your face. Can't stand them.

Why would a saints fan rather watch a champions league game than saints? That’s just stupid
