I refused to go a skiing holiday to Italy, all paid for in 1989 as we had Sheffield Wednesday away in the league the day of departure.
My caveat is that myself and my mate pledged to go to every game that season, which we achieved.

Most finals would cancel hopefully in time to get refund on proviso am booking again soon.

If it was league one play off final, I would not go and would watch it sunning myself on my tablet.

Last game of the season to get necessary points on final day, again would watch on tablet by the pool.

League cup, F A cup again would definitely go to the match.

The champions league final, I would try to escape from my padded cell !!!

Nope. I spent the 2003 play-off final sitting in the car on one of the Frisian Islands, trying to coax a signal out of the radio. Couldn't get out of the wife's best friend's 30th birthday party the next year when we were playing at Hillsborough.
