In talks, confirmed. Someone is talking to the same person as we are 😂

Based on his stats over the last 2 seasons 8-10 league goals over a full season is what we could expect.

Was out for nearly a year with a knee injury in 20/21. Hope I'm wrong but seems like a bench player who could cover left of front three or centre forward without necessarily making any position his own.

He came alive a bit last three games of the season.
Two goals from two games.

Seems like the perfect Swans signing.

Talented, young, but maybe never settled in anywhere else.

Frankly I find it hugely encouraging that our recruitment this Summer has been heavily pace based.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I would be happy with him. Has got alot of experience at championship level. We will see. Hopefully he signs soon before a bigger fish starts circulating to get his signature.

Such a change - probably been without real pace since the Potter era. Maybe lessons have been learned by the recruitment staff watching visiting teams tearing our pedestrian style to shreds. I couldn’t agree more.

Get him in and we’ve half a chance with a centre back.

Which was a massive upgrade from his 1 goal in the previous 20 games.

If we sign him I hope that he just needs a change of club and does well, but it feels like he is way down our list of targets and smacks a bit of desperation.

I assume he'll be wanting £15 k or so a week.

My mate who is a Stoke season ticket holder reckons we are interested in Tyreese Campbell who is set to leave them at the end of his contract.

For information there are two Tyrevce Campbells who are forwards. The other one Tyreece has two 'e' s in his name and is 20 and plays for Charlton.

His full name is Tyreece Anthony Tupac Shakur Campbell so at least would presumably have a good initiation song.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Third bit. Agree entirely.

You could see the start of it last season with Ronald and Placheta. We tried to get them on the ball quickly and often managed it. Stalled a bit when Placheta got injured and we had to cover with Paterson/Cooper.

Two problems with it were we were insipid up front and we didn’t have the pace in midfield to get back when we got turned over. It looked pretty disjointed, but there was a clear shift from the inefficient lateral passing to getting it wide quickly, whilst still playing it out from the back.

Hopefully these signings are the next pieces in the jigsaw. I can see Campbell being a decent fit for the way Williams wants to play.
