It isn’t a cap mate, it’s a very much reduced salary offer for players. I suppose they must have offset money fr this based on the type of player we are after. 👍

We seem to be overloaded with midfield players and no forwards. Unless we are going to go with the old Spanish system and a false number nine.
A very timely newspaper report on a player who was pretty poor last season and was dropped for a lot of the second half of the season based on effort.
Now a report that states he is performing excellently the club don’t want to sell him, but they will for an over inflated fee. That’s what happens so close to the season starting. And that’s a great example of a club working in tandem with their local press.

Agree with other posters as things stand it's not a problem position, unless the swans are bringing in ready to sell one of their midfielders. Do we get Dembele for 1.5m and sell a Grimes for 3? Or Fulton for 2?

Grimes is going nowhere and nobody will match Fultons wages that he gets here.

With Eom and Ronald plus the very exciting Goncalo Franco - extremely exciting and I’ve got some real optimism for the season ahead. We’ve virtually changed half the starting eleven with some massive upgrades. One centre half and I think we’re ready. Grimes might have a fight on his hands to stay in the team which is exactly how it should be.
