Well they haven't sold him yet. I think the Saudi's only by the bigger names for big money, it's the publicity they want.

Signing a flop isn't great PR for them. So they look at the big names towards the end of their career, like Henderson, and tempt them away with obscenely large offers for 30 plus players. look at Ronaldo, 173 million per year and he's 39. Still supremely fit, still very good but 173 million good in a poor league?

It's crazy, the Saudi's are trying to sportwash their way into acceptance. I have a few choice words for them.
