Lewis Wing signing will be announced very shortly. Personally I think it’s a very good signing. He’s eager, can score goals and he is hardy. Will want to prove he’s championship level not cry off like a lot of over hyped pampered players. Good work GA and staff.
Former Brentford captain Harlee Dean and Reading forward Chris Martin are among potential targets for the Royals, according to reports.
Still only looking at loans and free agents, the pool of potential options in the three weeks before the season starts is dwindling.
Both vastly experienced, Martin and Dean have over 1000 professional appearances between them.
Best known for spells with Derby County and Brentford respectively, both are in the twlight of their careers.
Martin spent last season with Queens Park Rangers while Dean was on loan in League One with Sheffield Wednesday from Birmingham City.
Experienced is the generous word. Reading seem to have not learned from their previous erratum… not that I wish any club ill. But they should learn this isn’t a good strategy and if that lesson comes harshly no business of mine

Is it not the case FFP rules are different in League 1. Maybe there is more wriggle room and he was offered more than we can offer under the rules pertaining to the Championship
