The worse thing about our 3rd word rail network is the constant bullsh!t they come up with. They're constantly working on the lines all year around to "provide" a better service. Also what genius thought it would be a good idea to do said work at what's probably the busiest period of the year for people to travel?


30 years of under investment = a lot of catching up to do.

Most of the punters who pay a lot to go to work every day are off this time of year and because it's large scale work, it's better and less disruptive in the long term to do it in a 'big hit'.

Only in the UK would you hear complaints about investment to improve things.
