Looked at Jury's Middlesbrough for December and it was £55pn. However, when I went to book it they added £11 tax making it £66 in total.

However, booking the same room through Trivago the cheapest comes in at £71 so even with the tax added they're still the cheapest I could find so I'll be looking at hotelplanner.com in the future.

Same price as Premier Inn so I'd say Jury's with the pool. Apparently there's a cracking chippy down the road at Saltburn on Sea.
