Was asked to come in as director of football before the Watford game. Monk refused. Just saying.

How many times are they going to ask him to come back?
No wonder GM said no,

It's just the internet, init.

Even if this is bollocks (and it probably is) the saddest thing about it is that it's so believable.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Well, the board would certainly have more idea of why he is wanted than the brains trust on this site.

Probably because he is cheap, or jobs for the boys or because he is a yes man (before one of the aforementioned brains trust pipes up).

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

But we were flying before Warford. Why would the Board want to rock the boat at that stage?

Easily the most unbelievable rumour I've read on here and that's saying something. We were heading for Champions League before Watford. Shelvey said :)

Why before the Watford game? We were flying up until the 1st international break. Further evidence that it's utter bolloxs.
