Traffic issues on Saturday
Traffic issues on Saturday

There's potential traffic issues on Saturday for those who arrive very early at Spotland for their matchday experience due to the cycling event - Tour Of Britain.

It will have no impact on 95% of supporters, but early on Saturday the Tour of Britain will pass very close to the Stadium. It starts at the Town Hall at 10:30am and will eventually head up to Edenfield Road passing within 100 yards or so of Spotland Stadium.

It is expected that they should have passed the ground between 10-45 and 10-50, so that will have a knock on effect with road closures etc.

This is the opening leg of the Tour of Britain, and a whole host of well known names in the cycling world will be taking place, and as such crowds are expected.

Things will have cleared long before our 3pm kick off with Walsall.
