Sneak preview of Wycombe programme Thursday, 29th Sep 2011 06:00 Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One match against Wycombe Wanderers. The programme has been maintained at 76 pages this season, but with a host of new features to keep you entertained before, during and after the match. We start with a front cover image of on-loan forward Matthew Barnes-Homer, who had a short spell with Wycombe earlier in his career. Manager Steve Eyre looks back at the defeat at Notts County, while ‘Starter For Ten’ remembers games where Dale have managed to wrap up the points unusually early. A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter, while ‘Kit Parade’ goes back to the early-1990s. We have action photos from the game against Hartlepool, while Lost Grounds looks at a venue Dale last played on in the 1960s. Sarah Lomas and Matt Turner pen their next articles for the programme and we have an exclusive interview with Dale physio Andy Thorpe, who tells us whether or not he was tempted to follow Hillcroft to Barnsley. Visitors Wycombe Wanderers get eight pages of coverage, in which we reveal a past link between one of their players and a member of the Dale squad. All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
