To be honest, I hope Ukraine does get NATO membership as all of us in the west should. The more we can defend ourselves from the Russian regime the better.
Crimea is strategically important so I can understand why Ukraine wants to keep it and again for Western security I donāt blame them. Iād encourage it. Russia wants it for their own strategic purposes which Iād rather they didnāt.
Regarding Donbas, was that an official referendum or just an informal Declaration of Independence?
Russia is a hostile state who would grab more and more until they are stopped so itās best done now than in the future.

Regardless of past events, Russia rolled its tanks into Ukraine in a bid to retake land and are therefore the aggressors. Is this right?
The Ukrainian people are fighting to get THEIR land back from a tyrannical dictator? Is this right?
Wouldnāt the best process be for there to be a referendum in the areas occupied by ethnic Russians to determine if such areas return to Russian control? Would you agree?
Why is Putin doing this and would it encourage him doing more in the future if itās that easy!?
If you are saying that this is all Zelenskyyās / Ukraineās doing and that they deserved to be invaded aggressively then say so and give the reasons.
Are you in agreement retrospectively with the Nazis invading Czechoslovakia in 1938 as part of the lebensraum project and bringing German Czechs back into Germany? Itās the same thing.
Donāt complicate matters trying to be clever (although youāll find that difficult I know). Just stick to whatās happened in the last few years and then tell us whether you believe the action taken is justified. [Post edited 4 Mar 12:09]

Itās very easy to have peace if you cede your land without retaliating against a bully.
Sadly, thatās not how it works.
I donāt know what sort of person Zelenskyy is nor at this point do I care. What I do know is that Putin is the aggressor and cannot be allowed to continue land grabbing by force. If peace is wanted the way to that is by him withdrawing. Then look to see if those areas want I be part of Russia or Ukraine through democratic processes.
As Res perfectly put it above, how can Putin, a dictator and a bully, be admired and rendered blameless in all of this by his fanboys?! |

It will for sure but we are going in to it with a bit of confidence after last week, a good rest and time to get things right on the training ground and hopefully against a side who may react like itās a game after The Lord Mayorās Show.

Well neither is it correct in Russian bias media either. Somewhere in between Iād wager.
To be honest, I donāt really care about that. What was distasteful was the leader of the free world (dear God  ) and his schoolyard bully friend ganging up on Zelenskyy and destroying him live on TV for the world to see. All it lacked was Melania standing beside him saying ādonāt do it The Donald, he aināt wurf itā.
Oh, and the planted journo asking about the suit coupled with Trumpās remarks to the assembled press outside in his arrival saying something along the lines that heās come dressed for the occasion (clearly with extra large portions of sarcasm). |

Their egos wouldnāt allow them to respect her. The same thing happened when Bob Bradley was here, the players were not going to be told what to do by an American. They paid him no respect, that was obvious.
Itās going to need an introduction at a much lower level before it will get any credibility in the EFL. Even Sarina Wiegman would struggle at Conference Level in old money. |

I know thatās right morally but sometimes justice should be meted out to certain members of society who are held in higher regard by the public in order to set an example. Thatās why this guy should be in jail. |
