Really enjoyed the matches I’ve been in rail seating, good atmosphere and I prefer standing. Nice to see the club make a positive change to the ground, as others have said though don’t judge it on a friendly |

I’ve introduced my son and other family members to cricket through T20, we are Somerset fans so were lucky enough to see us win the Blast last season. Great format of the game that I thoroughly enjoy, just shame the tournament will lose a bit of momentum this season with a break until the QF’s. |

21 isn’t that young especially considering 61 Championship appearances , he’s had enough chance to develop and frankly hasn’t. I do agree he should have gone on loan, a season a division or 2 below would have helped although considering his attitude I wonder if he would have agreed to go. I’ll be shocked if we see him make it at this level. |

I genuinely interested as to why you think he has potential? He is very quickly and I am tempted to say strong but actually got bullied a lot by central defenders. I don’t see anything else at all, terrible first touch, finishing dreadful, can’t cross or stay onside…I could go on! |

I wouldn’t be hugely concerned if we didn’t, I’d be genuinely stunned to SA can turn himself into a player of Championship standard and generate a large transfer fee. Take the 2.5M and run, incredible that a club are willing to offer this. |

Well said. My passion is QPR once a player has left there is zero love from me, maybe a slight exception for Eze due to the sell-on and that he behaved impeccably during his time with us. Armstrong and Willock have been offered deals and refused, I wish them nothing but bad luck and injuries (maybe harsh but honest!) |

I thought 750k on the basis of some progress with Ireland U21’s. 2.5M is ridiculous not sure I believe it, neither Bristol City or Stoke could have researched thoroughly and be prepared to pay this for a player that has 3 goals in 61 matches at this level. |

In Warnock’s first pre-season we beat a local Devon side by a huge amount. |

Statistically the greatest manager England have ever had, no question of that now. Not sure it’s always been the most watchable but he knows how to progress in a tournament which is something we have massively lacked. |
| Forum Reply | Olise to Bayern Munich at 10:18 8 Jul 2024
Agreed. Unfortunately seems less likely to get 50M offers based on his performances, certainly looks a quality player but needs to do far more when given a chance for any team to be paying that sort of money. |
| Forum Reply | Willock at 13:18 6 Jul 2024
I think he will move, he has clearly run his contract down looking for a sign-on bonus and potentially higher salary and I expect at least one Championship club will take a gamble on him. The delay is probably Willock hanging around for a deal which may be close to end of transfer windows but keeping options open with us in case nothing materialises. Not great miss considering attitude and overall performance last season, 1 goal in last 24. Let’s move on, trust Marti to get someone on using Willock’s salary. |

Thank you Clive and congratulations to SimplyNico, a great prediction battle! Happy to have a chat about the previews, sure we can sort out something. |

This is similar to what happened to Warbs. Expectations too high and much of the fanbase seemed to ignore we had half the team out injured and still finished top half, let’s not fall into this trap again. |

Extremely unlikely. Marti has worked wonders but he would need to pull off a minor miracle to get this set of players in contention and we have little to no budget to bring players in. We will be up against vastly superior squads and that have the capability to spend big. [Post edited 30 Apr 20:01]

Loved Bristol City (A) partly as it is my personal local derby. We put on a good performance that day, quite unexpected after the Stoke result and felt like quite a turning point in the season. |
| Forum Reply | Who do we want to get relegated? at 06:59 27 Apr 2024
I think Plymouth could be in trouble, Millwall away won’t be easy and then they play Hull who may well need a win. |

We complain about our many midtable boring seasons and it definitely hasn’t been boring! Incredible turnaround, can’t quite believe he has done it. A terrible reflection on Ainsworth. |

Who plays up front is causing so much argument and discussion because none of them are anywhere near good enough. Loads of terrible stats flying around on Dykes but Armstrong has scored 3 league goals in around 60 appearances and Frey looks so slow and immobile it’s almost a joke having him on the pitch. Chance to add to options before the season which wasn’t taken and again last transfer window, this failure may well relegate us. |

Budget and player for player we shouldn’t be anywhere near Hull (Carvalho vs Dykes). Damage was done last Saturday vs Sheff W and by not holding on vs Plymouth. |
