Fckin’ hell it’s all coming flooding back. I don’t know if it’s just rose tinted specs but I doubt young un’s these days have as much fun as we did. Rage, Confusion, Shoom, Gas. It’s definitely a small world, I guarantee we share friends in common. I’ve worked with LoftForWorders, went to school, played football, raved and been to wakes and weddings with them. One was a neighbour and another used to service my car. The only advice I have is to enjoy every moment as they grow up very fast.
Oh and treat the missus to something nice like a spa or some VIP pampering .That birthing and mothering stuff is hard as hell and a break even if for a few hours will do wonders.
My first experience of very strong beer was at a Belgian cyclocross race. I couldn’t remember anything about the race but was told afterwards that I was dancing on a table in one of the tents to crappy euro house. I woke up in the hotel room fully dressed and covered in mud lunchtime the next day.
Not to excuse the booing, it was out of order, but I’ll try and add some context. Cycling crowds, especially MTB and cyclocross can be properly rowdy affairs. They are nothing like the polite track cycling events. Think 10 Stella’s deep, flares, foghorns, flags and cowbells and you are halfway there. If you ever get a chance to see one of the big races I would definitely recommend it. However the downside is lots of lagging people and pantomime responses. Tom made contact with the French rider, it was legal but from the howls Pierre and Co were clearly unhappy. Personally I think it made the win all the sweeter. Folks shouldn’t take offence though, like abusing the opposition striker or booing the ref it’s very much part of the sport.

Biden is the first American president I can remember that hasn’t been involved in foreign wars. Now I think there is a very good argument to say the withdrawal was handled badly but the fact is he got the job done, whereas Trump promised to pull troops out and failed miserably. Yet another key election promise broken. The Russia thing is very odd, if you asked anyone 10 years ago if they thought the Republican Party would be pro Russia and parrot her propaganda on a daily basis you’d think they’d lost it, but here we are. The Republican Party is undoubtedly pro Putin and pro Russia and Trump has openly stated he trusts their word more than the US military, intelligence and FBI etc. It’s no wonder so many people believe he has been compromised.

Which he did. This time he will be expected to outlaw abortions in all cases including rape and incest nationwide and also ban IVF in return for their vote. What a time to be alive!
