Would prefer this , if true , to a loan move. Would of thought that buying a younger promising striker would make more sense. The idea behind loaning out a player is that they get game time and seeing as Bony will be the Nr. 1 choice I can't see a Lukaku playing second fiddle.

I agree that a permanent signing would be better than a loan deal, otherwise a loan signing would just be slowing the development of Donnelly. At least if we sign another promising young striker we'd be developing our own.
