Every report I've heard this morning aren't going with the story of Bradford being the 2nd bottom division club to make it to the league cup final - they are going with 'Bradford are the 1st bottom division club to get to a major Wembley final'! Unfortunately the press are technically correct (selective with the facts) in what they are reporting, with the emphasis on the "Wembley Final" bit.
Our run to the final in '62 was when the competition final was played over 2 legs and therefore no Wembley final for us. |  |

It certainly sounds better 'Bradford Making History'! I know not all top flight clubs were entering the comp back then and the final wasn't yet at Wembley (typical Dale luck) - still a great achievement for 'little' old Rochdale. | |
