Popped into Wales todsy( posh bits obviously)
Never seen so many well dressed schoolchildren
Locals clean, smart and didn't see one face piercing nor a tattoo sleeve
Shows how unequal our country is really
Lovely lovely town
Rowing on the river FFS
Posh boys and Welsh posh too

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Fond memories of Abergavenny/Crickhowell, a proper Welsh county town. Nice to see you supporting the local economy ,every penny counts , even there .

Fished the Wye at Hereford last weekend and those bleeding rowers were a pain in the arse, no thought for anyone else using the river sat in their canoe's right in front on me and then you got their motorised punts motoring through it shouting out instructions.

The total arrogance and ignorance is staggering.

Abergavenny has changed these days, it's a bit of a rough house.

What’s the river like there these days? There’s been a lot of fuss about the run off from chicken factories further up the line killing the river.

No problems reported on HDAA waters, Phosphates are lower than they were 20 yrs ago, Match angler Dave Roberts and organiser basically lives on the river and he's wrote a piece about it on the facebook group.

It was nothing like that yesterday afternoon
Liked the market there
It's a classy place
Have a look at estate agent windows
We did
I'd live there if I were younger
Plenty of posh women around , ink free and not a nose ring to be seen
Agree about rowers
Horse riders though far worse , nothing worse than Pippa and Hermione on their nags in a narrow lane

I used to compare it with another county Town , Narberth , its sad to see standards decline even there .

Pollution levels are a function of the weather and the dilution effects. It varies. Hot summers can destroy fish stocks in heat waves due to low oxygen in the water.
