I would hold on that.

I can only hope this is a bluff but I’m not over confident.

Even IF we were to sign Low, we tend not to play new signings in the first game after signing so we’d probably still go with Christie - Naughton which will mean a drubbing. That’s the reality of the situation unfortunately. Even with them in, a performance a la Soton or Portsmouth or Hull will see us leave with nowt. I’ve mentally prepared myself for this one and expect nothing.

You can't understate the damage the last lot did through lack of business knowledge of British football. Not only are we very limited with financials due to P&S we are on the limit with work permit quota, which may free up a space in two week. On the financial side although we have about £20M in the bank we are not allowed to pay £1M in full for a player.

Feel free to correct me if you think I am wrong or offer an opinion on how the current owners could improve the situation. Sacking the coach and paying him off in full is not an option due to P&S.

I understand how we are in the position we are but why are we in such a state when clubs like Cardiff who are in huge debt aren’t? It’s not just them.

I’ve a little more faith in Coleman now that he actually pulls the strings BUT he needs an experienced English football person to oversee the intricacies of the transfer market, P&S, Who’s etc. Ckearly this has been lacking latterly.

Not necessarily, but like every decision at the club at the moment there is not much wriggle room.

Have we been that stupid with our signings given some of the injury issues or just stupid given how much has been paid out on players who haven't been played even our academy youngsters whose loan contracts seen to be one of our few source of incoming revenue to alow us to buy anyone.

Just look at the players we signed in the last two years and have loaned out or just not played, think of their purchase price and weekly wage. Then there is Pederson, no fee disclosed but about £1M a season it's all been utter madness.

Is Pederson out of contract this Summer? He has been a financial disaster, Tjoe Ogbetta and why did we sign Mclaughlin? What was wrong with Broome, who we have sent out on loan to Port Vale.

And Christie is well past his sell by date, it's all so frustrating, nearly 3 weeks in and nobody in, surely we could have got a loan centre back

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Before Christmas I'm sure Williams said somin along the lines that there were two lined up to come in at the first week of the window, what's gone wrong, it can't be because of the uncertainty surrounding Williams, because there was nothing in that according to Williams and Coleman apparently.

Was the procurement of Christie that bad a deal given we had got to the stage where we had very little cover across the back line, the xfr window had closed and by the look of it we could not spend much money anyway. So was he the best fit available when looking at the available non contracted players.
Against Southampton who else would you pick, is this state of affairs down to William's similarity to Martin's not being prepared to give youth a chance or is it a case that the younger players were used in positions that could do least harm out wide but that may have backfired as we have no-one of youth coming through for next season unless we now start using them now.But they are inexperienced and not up to standard, they will make mistakes and cost us games, will they cost us anymore than trying to play older.players past their best often unable to play a full game. Did Guehi make mistakes yes but matured into the player he is now by Cooper knowing the potential was there.
Can we afford not to have some young players from whatever age group under21s or u18s ready to play 20mins here and there to get up to speed for a full game in congested fixture periods in every position in the team because next year we should not be keeping a number of older people under contract as players.and can we afford to fill the number of gaps that will be left.
We cannot keep saying after one or two games often off the subs bench that a player is not good enough as we have done with the likes of Obegeta and Congreve for example, Tjoe-A-On has been used very sparingly in friendlies and cup games often looking weak in a poor team line up trying to played a system that doesn't work with certain players
in the midfield, in some cases he is better at defending than Tymon is but Tymon holds is own and the positions is his but unless youngsters are given a chance to integrate at a high level they will not gain the experience to play effectively at the level of league the team is playing in. At some point in this season William's is going to have to trust a number of youngsters in positions that are down the spine of the team.He has used them up front, maybe bought in players but elsewhere in the team needs attention to ensure we don't have to rely on players past their best because you know that with them against better teams they will be found out.

Im afraid it does not look as if it will happen does it for what ever reason?
I do notknow or understand how clubs in far worse f f p situations are still paying big money for players and not only them up the road
I for one am disappointed with the non action of our new owners this transfer window to dat we only seem to be after 1 player when we ne 3 or 4

It is
Very disappointing considering new ownership.
Frankly, can’t see anyone come in although we might sign an over the hill, worthless ,useless pension topper on the last day or a kid nobody else wants
I’m expecting a 4million bid for Grimesy

Tan, as much as he’s a useless owner and I can’t wait for the day he sells up, uses his own money, he didn’t do a glazer type thing and borrow 50 million, the debt is just to him, same with Dalman who we now owe £30 million too. It’s their house, if they want to waste money with bad signings and terrible managers hey ho.

Full of bull shite and bluster, they had signings lined up so they said, can't blame PSR because they would have known about that before mentioning signings they should have anyway unless they had their heads in the sand, very possible, its all gone a quiet lately [Williams apart} so you have to wonder just WTF is going on.
