Brentford Game Matchday Thread on 16:41 - Jan 4 with 2712 views | grumpy | We know the manager has an impossible task but what credentials did he have to take the job? What had he done that the club were so keen to get him? Nothing personal against him but the owners need to take the blame for this fiasco with poor managers. [Post edited 4 Jan 16:42]

Brentford Game Matchday Thread on 16:42 - Jan 4 with 2688 views | NYC_Saint | It's amazing how we've got to this state. Appointing Jones, spending $40mn on Sulemana and Tall Paul was the start of a comedy of amateurish ownership errors. We'll sell dibbling and anyone else we can this Jan as they try and recoup what cash they can then I fear we'll be stripped and put up for sale. Well then have another charlatan wannabe ownership group try to apply their second tier MBAs and hubris into "outsmarting" everyone else. Don't see the fun times under Poch and Koeman ever returning...

The Croatian connection is about all. I thought I saw a little ray of light when Simon Rusk took over, but no, that was too easy, too logical. Have to bring in another another no hoper who's achieved f*ck all to continue the trend. The sooner Ankersen is gone, the better. We've suffered enough. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Absolutely. I think this is the worst performance of the season. Juric is on a hiding to nothing but I'm struggling to see what (if any) our tactics are. 3 games, 3 defeats with one OK half (WHU) and the rest utter garbage. Rusk 1 from 1 and 2 performances with heart. And then yet another awful mistake from THB and 4-0. Pathetic, utterly pathetic. [Post edited 4 Jan 16:53]

Brentford Game Matchday Thread on 16:59 - Jan 4 with 2117 views | washington_saint | That is a totally embarrassing defeat. Perhaps the worst I have ever seen (the 2 9-0s we were down to 10 men) - Juric's starting line up was baffling, his subs were baffling and this team has no heart,. If Big Les ever plays for us again that will be a disgrace. He is awful, absolutely terrible. A strke force of Armstrong and Archer. How did it ever come to this? Actually....>SR, far, far worse than Gao
Brentford Game Matchday Thread on 16:59 - Jan 4 with 2117 views | obelisk | Saints were never in contention during that game. The team has a losing mentality and the players all look completely bereft of confidence. Swansea must be licking their lips.

Brentford Game Matchday Thread on 17:03 - Jan 4 with 1964 views | JoeEgg | I really wouldn't be sure any more that we are good enough to hold our own even in the Championship;;;;;;; and the thought of being beaten by Pompey......... What a contrast at Bournemouth. For years inferior to the Saints and now showing what can be done with the right people in charge!

Brentford Game Matchday Thread on 17:08 - Jan 4 with 1800 views | Baltimore | What a bunch of absolute losers...no heart, no fight, nothing. I don't blame the manager, he's on a hiding to nothing. The players he has are mostly Championship standard, but I think if Martin had been sacked after the Bournemouth game he may have been able to instill some fight in to these players.....too little too late.
