How we could approach the January window 11:48 - Dec 28 with 9414 views | QPRConor2000 | Given the state of our finances, we probably really do need to try and clear one or two out to ensure we do have some funds to allow Marti to make some additions. Unless the sponsorships we have signed mean we do have some funds for loans and the odd free transfer.

How we could approach the January window on 19:16 - Dec 30 by kensalriser | There are now seven teams in the bottom 10 who've conceded more goals than we have and that's because in Cifuentes' 11 games we've conceded only nine. On that basis the approach should be 1) get a striker, 2) get a striker, and 3) get a striker. [Post edited 31 Dec 2023 13:09]

We watched him repeatedly at Dundee Utd, Les even went to a few of their games himself. We ended up with Dykes instead.

Wasn’t he and Kieffer Moore both preferred signing over Dykes but we couldn’t agree a very with Dundee Utd and then Moore did the dirty and went to Cardiff for more money?
How we could approach the January window on 12:56 - Dec 31 with 2756 views | QPRConor2000 | I think we need at least 2-3 in the door. 1 x Striker 1 x Centre Mid/Attacking Mid 1 x Winger.

Yeh Moore was annoying. We were straight in when Wigan went into admin and had it all agreed, he was on his way down for medical, had the piece all written and ready to go. Cardiff got wind and he was always going to go there, his club and blew us out of the water money wise.
How we could approach the January window on 13:27 - Dec 31 with 2670 views | GaryBannister86 | Would Nakhi Wells be the most ridiculous shout for a loan? He's usually good to fire in a few goals in the first few games of a new move, and time is one thing we don't have. Not an original idea, I know, but he may still have some quality. Just seen he started on Friday for Bristol City, so my genius idea is rubbish.

Wells would be the classic expensive short term fix. But I’d bite your hand off for him (I know it won’t happen). I’ve been through the remaining fixtures and if we don’t collect 8-9 points from our 4 home games in Jan, I think we’re done for. January is absolutely critical. We have to be level with 21st or above the line by then. Feb is mixed but March is incredibly hard. We’ll do well to pick up 3 points in that month (right at the end!). So we need a short fix. We need a forward in immediately. The issue is the Prem 25 man squads aren’t finalised for a while and no one will be selling in the first week. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I see hes only played 14 games so far, so if the wage split is right then Id take him back 100% on loan. [Post edited 31 Dec 2023 16:55]

How we could approach the January window on 14:19 - Jan 1 with 2040 views | lassel | I’ve posted here a few times about being involved with Brommapojkarna here in Stockholm - we are having a bit of a golden period and have sold to AC Milan, Excelsior and Barcelona recently and had two players Sam Holm and Oscar Pettersson who are good enough to play for QPR, we’re out of contract and earning less per month combined than Adomah earns per week. If I’d had any connections at the club I’d have been offering to pay their airfares to get over here and see them in action. As it’s 1st Jan now I can say alas, they’re going to Djurgarden and Göteborg respectively and will be in a European top league within 18 months….. My confidence that the club would even know where to look for gems within our non existent budget is currently below zero and I fear we will end up with a Hendricks type last knockings of the window. :/

How we could approach the January window on 19:56 - Jan 1 with 1842 views | ted_hendrix | I hope we don't sign anybody, we stink to death of relegation and that's what's gonna happen regardless of who we do or don't bring In. It's over It's too late the damage has been done today, today's result was brutal but brutal as It was all its done Is hammer home just how bad this squad Is. Keep what little money we haven't got. Once relegated we can show the door to whoever and as whoever goes through the door he should receive an enormous kick up the arse followed with a smack across the back of the head with a pick axe handle. In August of this year we go again In league One. I am honestly distraught with my club and what they've done to us. DO NOT spend a penny on anyone please, it's a false economy.

How we could approach the January window on 20:01 - Jan 1 with 1826 views | baz_qpr | We need 2 x Strikers 1 x Centre Midfield Playmaker 1 x Right sided Centre back who can play at Right back if needed 1 x Winger with pace One of these needs to be an excellent set piece taker who can whip a ball in Sadly we probably dont have the money or the appeal to bring any of these in and if we were I would have expected this to be lined up for 1st Jan

How we could approach the January window on 09:23 - Jan 2 with 1494 views | TheChef | We need a goalscorer - and hope we still have Chair and Willock (and they stay fit) to give that striker some ammunition. Scary how far Dykes has regressed and that's from a very low base. Chat in the pub last night how we have a Scottish/Australian striker who should be an absolute beast, smashing defenders around the pitch, dominating. Yet we've ended up with a pussycat. Given finances and recruitment ability (ho ho) I'd be amazed if we get even a couple of players who probably won't be much cop anyway.

How we could approach the January window on 10:52 - Jan 2 with 1351 views | SpongeParr | A striker, attacking midfielder and a winger would be my wish list. We lack all sorts of creativity and with WIllock and Chair both being injured, we have nothing.

The issue with this is that we don't have the money to buy players like Cole and Blackett-Taylor. It will be a rescue job window akin to the 2021 one. Cauley Woodrow is a decent shout from someone in here. That's the type of player we will be looking at. Keiffer Moore will have his pick of Champ clubs. Where we need to get lucky is finding some child from the Man City/Chelsea/Spurs puppy farm who can slot into Centre Mid

Hes on 43 grand a week, I doubt we'd afford that. probably more likely we go for youngsters from the PL.

Well, you generally don't pay full wages for guys nowhere near the 1st team. Is he really on 43k? possible with Forest I suppose.
