shite declaration imo..a run rate of just 6 an over means yorks wont have to take too many chances in the chase thus completely negating our chances of remotely taking 1o wickets.to win. overly generous and virtually handed the title to yorkshire.

The declaration was contrived (like that has never happened before) but Middlesex had to set Yorkshire a gettable target. Ending the match with a hat-trick is surreal. But the Champions never lost a game all season, so just about deserved it.
