| Forum Thread | Peter Crouch Podcast at 19:31 4 Dec 2024
So a question came in to his podcast asking is there a team he wanted to play for that be never did. He said there wasn't but would have been with us for longer or come back to us later in his career. He said he loved it with us, loved the people and was liked by the fans and has a lot of affection for us. Was saying he would have maybe liked to have finished his career with us and maybe could have come to us after Burnley but felt he couldn't be the player he wanted to be and wouldn't do that to us. He would have only come to us if he thought he could have been worth it |

So do we think Marti will drop Celar as the fans are/have turned against him and his performances are not up to it (at the moment) or will he continue with him to try and give him sort of confidence? I like Lloyds energy but not sure he can last the 90 minutes like that and would he better coming on as a sub? If that is the case, who do we start with. I wouldn't mind seeing Kolli there. I know he seems to be a player who gets better by not playing in terms of people's perception of him but at least he will be a presence up front, can hold the ball up and give the defenders something to think about, or is there another option? |
| Forum Thread | WiFi Router tech question at 20:32 10 Oct 2024
Hi all I know there are a few tech minded people out there, so hoping someone can help. My router has the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands synchronised. However I am trying to set up a TP Link camera that only connects via 2.4ghz. I am thinking about unticking the box to synchronise the bandwidths so that the camera and connect to the 2.4 and then I'll set up laptops and phones etc to the 5ghz. I was wondering if I would notice a change in performance? I also run my IPTV through an Amazon Firestick and whilst this would be connected to the 5ghz channel I don't want to unsynchronise them if that will make the IPTV lag Thanks |
| Forum Thread | Car tax at 14:31 8 Sep 2024
Hi all. Wondering if anyone can help. Just got a new car. On the forecourt now. Can't tax it as DVLA down for maintenance. Even phone line down. Is there any sort of president where you can still drive back without the tax as its out of our control? I know best thing would be not to crash the car but it is the other half's car so can't promise lol. So if anything did happen or you got stopped for whatever reason, you wouldn't get in trouble as we can show date of purchase and their system being down and therefore not our fault? |

| Forum Thread | Dykes playing as a 10 at 16:10 15 Jan 2024
What was everyone's thoughts on this yesterday? Thought he did ok, played between the lines and took up some good positions. Seemed to play with a bit more freedom not being the main striker and being the one expected to get the goals (in a strange way) |
| Forum Thread | GA podcast interview post sacking at 11:16 10 Nov 2023
I know there was a thread recently about Ainsworth and if anyone knew how he was doing. He's been in a podcast since so thought some might want to have a quick listen. Seems ok

| Forum Thread | Options up front at 20:31 5 Nov 2023
Was very disappointed in Dykes in Saturday. Didn't look comfortable with the new approach (although the old approach he didn't seem much better) maybe a bit more time with MC will get him firing as he works out how to get the best out of him. Wouldn't mind seeing Kolli get a game with this new approach as he seems quite good technically. It maybe Kelman who seems to finish well in training videos might come good if he is only expected to work the width of the penalty area. Maybe a false 9 approach will be used if he doesn't think our strikers are up to it |

| Forum Thread | Pinewood Studios at 20:33 26 Sep 2023
Hi All Hope you can help. Going to Pinewood on Friday for a series recording. Have read that they have free parking on site but have also read that in the past some people have had issues getting into the car park and been made to wait and then they haven't made the cut for the tickets. Anyone know any good side roads or car parks nearby that can be an option if we have issues getting into the site car park. Seen Iver Heath Bowling club and Stag and Hounds about 20 minute walk away which isn't too much of a problem, just wondering if any residential roads near by? |
| Forum Thread | IPTV and amazon firestick at 20:58 16 Aug 2023
Hi. Just wanting some tech advice. Has anyone ventured into the world of IPTV? Understand it can be done through the Firestick by downloading an app. Just wondering if any people have and what app you find to be good? If you have an android phone have you found an app that works well in the Firestick and your android phone? |

| Forum Thread | Differences between Neil Critchley's QPR and he who shan't be named at 22:28 23 Jan 2023
I haven't really been able to see many of the games this season and I wanted to ask a couple of questions. Would you say there is a style of play slowly making its way through under Critchley and if so what do you think a fully working, full if confidence QPR team look like under Critchley? Secondly from what people have seen so far what do you think are the main changes in style of play and our tactical approach have been since the change in manager? Thanks |
| Forum Thread | The team with and without Wilock at 11:41 25 Oct 2022
So I think it is fair to say when Wilock went down clutching his hamstring on that counterattack we all panicked. How long would he be out for and how would we cope. It turns out that we have been ok and handled it a lot better as a team compared towards the end of last season. Do you think we play any differently as a team when he is in the side to when he isn't? Have we changed something that has helped us cope better this time in his absence. I know Chair has stepped up even more this time around, not just in his attacking play but his all-round game and closing down and pressing |
