I think you should try to win every match you play in. Part of the reason standards have fallen at the club over the last decade (look at those tables for most defeats, etc. that were on social media recently) is our lackadaisical attitude towards cup competitions. It never made sense to say we need to comply with FFP yet persistently throw away opportunities to advance and make some money with a cup run, never mind build momentum and grow the club's profile. I love Marti but he didn't do what he said he would in the preview...and I'm someone who didn't travel to Leicester to stare at fog in the cold yesterday. Even at 3-2 down at half-time, the game is there for the taking. Make some changes. Unsurprising but disappointing nonetheless. |

It's the equivalent of the fallen tree in an empty forest. Confucius says if Nicolas Madsen steps onto a fog-laden pitch, how do we know he played? |

Stupidly I'd assumed he was a Geordie. I hadn't realised he was once on the Scum's books and Newcastle paid £3 MILLION for him two years ago. Tbf he has been a lot better recently (until yesterday) but tends to look like a winger playing full back, rather than an actual defender. |

I like the way he ambles around the pitch. It's old school. |

I like him and he definitely increased his work rate against Norwich. Plus he housesat for Jimmy Dunne. |

I think the issue with EDB is he never seized his opportunity like Morgan has. Probably not a fair comparison but no surprise he's fallen down the pecking order as Morgan has showed what is possible. |

Hopefully Brian Moore reviews it with his high-tech replay facility. |

Blackburn? I get that it's unlikely but I don't think you can write off the season when we're literally eight points off the play-offs with 20 matches left and playing well. Let's face it, if the players thought like that, we'd quite rightly slag them off! And I'd take a play-off final every time over midtable mediocrity. |

Play-offs are possible. Three more winnable games this month... |

Funniest thing was Holmes spending five minutes incredulous that his manager was taking him off. Sacked in the morning... |

In theory all our January league matches are 'winnable' in that you look at them and think realistically we could do that. Obviously this is the Championship and anyone can beat anyone but I genuinely think we could get 15 points in January. Imagine the play-off fever! |

Any team with the prefix Wayne Rooney's. |

Ashby was fantastic yesterday - if he can perform like that consistently, then he's definitely worth keeping. |

Thought he was excellent yesterday as he has generally been for the last couple of months. But yes, shooting practice required - he seems to rush his shots, so maybe needs to relax and pick his spot. |
